Digital Radiography & Ultrasound

Digital Radiography

Conaree Equine is proud to provide digital radiography. Dr. Smith purchased a Vetel Digital X-ray machine in 2013 and uses it on a regular basis. This machine is fully portable and acquires the image and allows viewing of it instantly. Advanced clear imaging and diagnostics is key to determining the cause of lameness or the extent of an injury. The detail of the Vetel Machine provides top image quality with limited artifact which Dr. Martha values especially for pre-purchase examinations and diagnosing lameness.

Ultra Sound Diagnostics

Our M5 ultrasound machine is a full-featured, high quality color doppler ultrasound tool that performs imaging across an extensive range of clinical settings and applications. It is a hand-carried Diagnostic Ultrasound that can be used for emergency medical care and gives exceptional visibility for pregnancy exams. Dr. Smith has had this ultrasound for 5+yrs and uses it almost on a daily basis for soft tissue injury diagnosis and reproduction work.

Shockwave Therapy

NeoVet Shock Wave Therapy System

The NeoVet shock wave therapy system is a newer development specifically for veterinary sports medicine. Built in Switzerland by some of the same engineers that designed the old market leaders. It is the first shock wave therapy machine designed specifically for equine veterinarians and not simply an adaptation of a human medical device. The new development focuses on improving clinical effectiveness, usability, portability and value.

Brochure of Shockwave Therapy

Dr. Smith purchased this machine in early 2016 and uses it frequently to speed healing of a variety of soft tissue injuries, such as tendon/ligament tears, non-healing wounds and muscle stiffness.
