About the Clinic

Welcome to the Blackstrap Hill Veterinary Clinic website! Established in 1984, BHVC is a general equine practice with referral and surgical capabilities and a full service breeding facility. We offer extensive veterinary services for all ages, breeds, and disciplines. Our goal is to provide our clients with caring, professional service with a variety of diagnostic and treatment options.

We are located in Cumberland Maine and provide ambulatory services to clients throughout central and southern Maine, western Maine and southern New Hampshire. At our hospital location, clients truck horses in from many areas to take advantage of our in clinic diagnostic and treatment services.
